BHK Outdoors Machete
Well we finally did it! We have what we hope will be one of our most popular monthly specials to date: Announcing the new BHK Outdoors machete! Oh boy, we have been waiting for this for a long time! This is the first blade to be offered up by BHK Outdoors and we're very proud of it. It is a 1075 hi-carbon blade manufactured to our exacting standards and then shipped to BHK for final assembly.

BHK Outdoors Machete with BHK Green/Black and Black Scales
We install the 3/8" phenolic resin scales in your choice of three colors, Green, Black, and Natural. Two lanyard holes are included to give you options for securing the blade to your hand. The handle also features two hand positions for chopping power as well as a grip for fine detail work. The spine of the machete is squared off near the back of the handle for use with a fire steel and then is rounded to allow the machete to be used as a draw knife.

BHK even produces the one-of-a-kind sheath that is truly unique and an awesome addition to an already amazing machete! We know you intend to use this tool hard and put it away wet. So when it's covered in who knows what, we designed a kydex sheath that is open all of the way around the blade. This will allow moisture and debris to fall away form the blade, reduce the chances of rust forming and the blade getting jammed. Our well thought out sheath further draws on our testing and experience and brings another BHK innovation into play with a slide-lock retention that holds the machete securely in the KLMS sheath when you are hi-tailing it through the brush. The KLMS is reversible so it can be carried on either side. There are several eyelets that facilitate lashing and make for great leg loop attachments.
